I have only this to say about the previous week, “FFFFFUUCCCCKKKKKKK!!!”
It was by far the most stressful week I have had since I started the program. The program BTW had nothing to do with the stress. In fact at times the program allowed me to simply stop and take a break in the midst of sheer unadulterated chaos.
First, Kid wasn’t sleeping this week. At least Wednesday and Thursday I only had about 2 – 4 hours of sleep each night. Second, my work was just incredibly tough with some big projects, people moving around, lots of impossible expectations to meet. Third, I missed working out on Tuesday. Fourth, I got sick towards the end with some stomach thing. See the last Boot Camp Update I wrote. It was just a bad week. I was thankful that I had a program so that I would take time out of the chaos to sit, eat healthy and take a breather. But for the most part this was just a hard week.
So, I expected bad results. I will admit that at one point this week I ate Fast Food for breakfast. I was in a rush and stressed and I just pulled in and did it. It was if all the ‘Habitizing’ I had done just completely fell apart. I also didn’t supplement well at ALL. And I didn’t drink enough water. And I suck. There. I said it.
So, here are the results:
- Height: 5’10″ (I have been told it is okay if this stays the same)
- Weight 291 (no charge)
- Chest 50″ (down .25″)
- Waist 53″ (Up 1″)
- Hips 46.5″ (down .5″)
- Bicep 18″ (no change)
- Thigh 30″ (down 1″)
- Neck 17″ (down .75″)
Ah, so despite the bonkoville week, I didn’t go backwards. I stayed the same on my weight, and I dropped in some measurements. Even though my waistline went up a full inch. WTF. However, I learned something. My system really works right now when all my other systems are working well. It was as if this week was a stress test for my system and in fairness it kind of fell apart in areas. The details like your supplements, water, food tracking and the like just went out the window. All I could manage was to keep eating protein, beans and veggies. The good news is I have this weekend (3 DAYS, MOFO!) to straighten out and plan more thoroughly. I think I need a better morning routine.
