Well, it was another week of working on consistency in my eating. I worked on a few of my goals. Specifically water in-take vs Diet Coke in-take. I managed to accomplish both of these goals. The unfortunate part of the week was only getting in 1 run due to re-injuring my calf again. This means I am going to need to seek some alternative means of cardio. I had hoped that would be bike or eliptical, but this week I’ve been way too busy with Holiday Tasks and Work to make it to the gym. So, I tried something else, more on that after the results:
- Weight – 291 Lbs (Down 3 pounds)
- Chest – 49 Inches (no change)
- Waist – 52 inches (down 1 inch)
- Hips – 4.5 inches (up .5 inch)
- Biceps – 17.5 inches (no change)
- Thighs – 28 inches (down .5 inches)
- Neck – 17 inches (no change)
It was a big deal for me losing the 3 lbs this week. This means that I had the write mixture of eating habits and water in-take. I also worked in YOGA (yeah you heard right) for the first time. I’m doing the p90x version, and it’s kicking my butt, but after watching an inspiring video on DDP yoga, I decided to work my way back towards it. I’m only doing about 30 minutes at a clip (instead of the full 1.5 hours), but I’m working my way up. Yoga is fucking hard, Dude. Don’t let them tell you different.
This week the challenge will OF COURSE by Xmas Eve and Xmas dinner. Time to see if I can learn any new approaches in lieu of my disaster Thanksgiving this year. Trying to break that 290 mark by the new year! And then I’m working my way back down the ladder folks. It’s happening, the streak is alive again, the focus is back. Root for me, as I root for you!
